Alefu has worked as a secretary for the Gemini Trust for two years. She is educated and currently studies IT at night school. She aims to be a computer programmer.
“Learning how to download, edit and print photographs has really helped with my job. I like taking pictures of historical places, art and churches”
She lives in Addis Ababa with her older sister Sindu. They are originally from Lailbelle in Tigray in northern Ethiopia, but their parents sent them to Addis to continue their education, and both have found well-paid jobs.
