Beti lives in Addis Ababa with her parents, grandmother, twin sister Yordanos and two older sisters. She is waiting for final exam results and hopes her grades are good enough to continue her education for free. If not, she cannot afford to pay.
“Since I’ve had this camera, everyone respects me. I like taking pictures at parties because it requires creativity and knowledge to make them interesting”
Her dream is to work as a doctor. In the meantime she hopes she can make extra money through photography and wants to set up a co-operative with the rest of the Ethiopia Lives group.
