  Technical problems

We have been having technical problems with our photo blog which have meant that pictures have not been visible for the last few days. We are working with 20six who host this site to fix the problems and we hope everything will be working again properly soon.

Thanks for your patience

Dear friends. It is so important for things like this as you can build bridges of friendship and understanding on an ordinary human level. This, indeed, is a great step towards world peace. Thank you.

These photos are wonderful; they clearly convey to ordinary people the ordinaryness of the Ethiopian people too. This can create a great compassion and get more and more people to identify with the shared life with their brothers and sisters under the umbrella of a common Humanity. Lovely!

  Tap water

Ronaldo: "Tap water is mostly available in the cities and many people have access in Addis. It is clean and safe to drink as it is chemically treated and filtered from a reservoir outside of the city. We use this tap water for washing clothes, bathing, cooking, drinking and watering the garden."
