Dhaki blogs under her family nickname of Ganno. She lives in a village 45km from Mega, and her husband Tukuu suggested she would be a great photographer for the community.
“Everybody is positive and likes to have their picture taken. I like it because I can show wedding ceremonies, naming ceremonies, and people working together”
Dhaki and her husband are Boran and grow crops as well as rear livestock. However, the area is highly drought prone, so Dhaki has started attending night school and is keen to learn to read and write so she can write her own captions.
