| It's Easter saturday. We have been fasting for two months (eating only vegetarian food with no dairy products). Traditionally we break the fast at 3am which symbolises Jesus being resurrected from the dead. We must not slaughter the chicken till 8 pm but we spend hours before preparing the vegetables and spices for the meal. I ate the meal with my sister and some friends.
