| Mercato is the biggest open market in Ethiopia and Africa. This type of basket is called 'mesob' and we use it to keep big bread called 'defo dabo' and 'infera' (our staple diet). Mercato is a place where you find everything. People come from all over the countryside and conduct business. In this part is where all the traditional baskets are sold.
