The watering point  / « Voriges Foto« Nächstes Foto

» Comment
Boran cattle drinking water at Dubluk borehold (motor) near the town. The cattle travel 30km every 3 days to this water point. This water point is used during the dry season. During rainy season they drink water at nearby ponds and surface water. In Boran culture, both men and women are involved in the job of watering their cattle. Most of the time men take the cattle on long distances and women and children when the water point is closer.
